HAIR UNLEASHED **VIDEO!**

Finally, I can check “wind machine” off my bucketlist. Since I have little hair of my own to let loose in the breeze, I choose to live vicariously through my work.  Ive been wanting to do a black and white hair story for a while, so when schedules cosmically aligned to have the opportunity to work again with über talented hair stylist William Soriano, I jumped.  I’ve always loved the famous photograph Richard Avedon took of Twiggy in 1958 (below) with her hair blowing wildly around.  The movement of the hair brings a real energy to the image that the perfectly primped ads of today can not match.

With that in mind, as well as influence from contemporary hair rockstar Luigi Murenu, we set to work. We flew-in a real live goldilocks, the sultry Chelsea H. from Vision LA, and one of my favorite makeup artists, Maria Nguyen (now also based in LA) to round-out my dream team. Countless hours and dozens of hair extensions later (and a Bowens windmachine,) this is what we produced!
